Mel B Honored With MBE

Mel B born Melanie Janine Brown has been honored with the British MBE (an order of the British Empire award), for her contribution to charitable endeavors and particularly her services to victims of domestic violence.

The founding member of the former girl pop group Spice Girls was presented the award in the Buckingham Palace in London on May 4, 2022, by Prince William.

Mel B (46) who is a staunch supporter of a charitable organisation called Women’s Aid, has previously narrated that she has been a victim of domestic violence herself, citing her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte as the culprit.
