Meghan Markle was born Rachel Megan Markle on August 4, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is the Duchess of Sussex, philanthropist, and former actress and model.

She got her early education in private schools, starting at Hollywood Little Red Schoolhouse at the age of 5. She then attended high school at an all-girl private Catholic school in Los Angeles, called Immaculate Heart High School. After completing high school, she enrolled at Northwestern University where she graduated in 2003, with a Bachelor's degree in theater and international studies.

Meghan Markle's career as an actress began in 2004, with a minor role in the television show Century City. That was followed by similar roles in 2006 in The War at Home and CSI: NY.

According to her own narrations, her early years of her acting career were rather tough, probably due to prejudice. As such, it took her almost 6 years to secure significant roles in movies. The latter included Get Him to the Greek in 2010, Remember Me also in 2010, and Horrible Bosses in 2011. At the same time, she got a long term role in the television show Suits that she maintained until November 2017. She got roles in some other popular television shows as well including Knight Rider, Without a Trace, 90210, and Cuts, among others.

Further to film acting, Megan Markle has been engaged in modelling and fashion. More specifically, she took some modelling jobs in the early years after graduating from university while simultaneously pursuing her acting career. In the later years in 2016, she launched a fashion line for women work clothing, in collaboration with Canadian clothing firm Reitmans.

Also, Meghan Markle is a very staunch philanthropist, with her particular interests including poverty alleviation, gender equality, and women empowerment. Within this context, she was appointed global ambassador for World Vision Canada in 2016. In that capacity, she went to Rwanda to promote the organization's campaign for clean water provision. She also went to India in the same capacity to promote a campaign related to women issues.

As an individual, the stunningly beautiful Megan Markle is friendly, strong, independent, very charismatic, intelligent, sophisticated, and empathetic.

Also, Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry of England on May 19, 2018, and became the first person of African descent to be a member of the British royal family. As a member of the family, she became officially the Duchess of Sussex.

Just about 21 months after their marriage, Duchess Meghan Markle and Duke Harry made an unexpected landmark announcement in a statement they shared on Instagram on January 8, 2020, that they will be stepping back as senior memmbers of the British Royal Family. The announcement implied the couple will be ditching frontline duties of the royal family. Their decision was endorsed by Queen Elizabeth II of England on January 13, 2020.

On January 18, 2020, Buckingham Palace hence Queen Elizabeth II announced Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would no longer be working members of Britain's monarchy. Also, the couple would no longer use their "Royal Highness" titles. Furthermore, the couple would from then pay their own way in life. Notwithstanding, however, Meghan Markle remains Duchess of Sussex and Harry remains Prince Harry and Duke of Sussex, although they will no longer be able to formally represent the Oueen.

The life of Meghan Markle so far has given us incredible lessons. We will illustrate as thus.

Firstly, Meghan Markle's marriage to Prince Harry illustrates vividly that love is so powerful that it can transcend racial and social class boundaries. In other words, where there is love, race and social class may become totally insignificant. Albeit a private matter, Megan Markle and Prince Harry marriage may have positive implications for society at large.

Secondly, Megan Markle's life so far suggests that some of the choices and decisions we make in our lives may not deliver embedded goals. However, that should not make us think we can never achieve the goals in the future through revised or new choices and decisions. In other words, failure in any aspect of our lives should help us steer our future in the right direction, and as such, no one should dare write off anyone.

In concluding, given her remarkable career attainments and philanthropic commitments, coupled with her well deserved British royal status of the Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle is, indeed, an exceptional smart beautiful woman.
