Madonna Hit Back At Critics’ Negative Comments About Her Youthful Look At Grammy Awards 2023

Madonna has hit back at negative comments made by her critics, about her youthful look at the Grammy Awards 2023 ceremony that was held in Los Angeles, CA, on February 5, 2023 (local time). She did that on Instagram following the comments that were also made on the social media platform.

Some of the critics are said to have made comments about Madonna’s face that they referred to as “new face” hence suggesting recent facial plastic surgery by the diva.

In her damning response, the extremely popular and influential diva, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, slammed the critics calling them ageists and haters of women.

More specifically, Madonna who is 64, accused the critics of trivializing her powerful speech at the prestigious event, and instead focusing on her looks. She continued her merciless attack saying and we quote her partly as follows.

“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in”.

She added and we quote partly again as thus.

“We live in a world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45, but punishes them if they continue to be strong willed, hard-working, and adventurous”.

Incredible response by diva Madonna to regressive and cynical comments that may be aimed at deterring efforts by diva and other over 45 years old global female titans like Cher, Tina Turner, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Jane Fonda, Melinda Gate, Oprah Winfrey, etc., for continued delivery of great things to the world. Therefore, such comments are no good for society. Those who have not yet made breakthrough into fame and wealth should be inspired by people like Madonna instead of making personal attacks pertaining to individual choices and preferences.
