Iranian teenage girls love Selena Gomez’s Calm Down duet with Rema, reported some US media on March 14, 2023.

The reports indicate that the teens love the duet so much that they dance it all the time, everywhere, and without headscarves, despite imminent danger of arrest by the country’s notorious sectarian security forces. As such, five fearless teenage girls without headscarves are said to have recently danced the popular hitmaker’s duet in downtown Tehran under one of the area’s landmark skyscrapers, and thereafter shared a video clip of their incredible live performance of the song on TikTok.

As probably expected, the police there were not amused by the girls’ decision to enjoy their individual freedom publicly. They began hunting for them immediately but without success so far. If caught the girls may face jail or detention, say the reports.

Wonderful dancing by the Iranian teenagers who seem determined to reclaim their basic human right for individual freedom.
