Coco Gauff is set to make her WTA Finals championship match debut after decisively beating Aryna Sabalenka in a semi-finals match of the ongoing 2024 WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 8, 2024. The incredible WTA No 3 won the match against the WTA No 1, comfortably in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3. Earlier during the tournament, she eliminated WTA No 2 Iga Swiatek.
In the 2024 WTA Finals championship match, the 20-year-old tennis superstar will tackle WTA No 7 Zheng Quinwen. That will also be a maiden WTA Finals championship match for the 22-year-old Zheng Quinwen.
Winner of the 2024 WTA Finals championship match will take home a cool prize money amounting a minimum of $2.5 million.
